WHY USE A TRAVEL AGENT?

PRICING!
Many people think that because a Travel Agent earns a commission, the rate they receive will be higher.  This is not the case.  When you book directly from a cruise line, hotel, or resort, you often pay full price.  The cruise line, hotel or resort does not always ask the questions that determine if you are eligible for discounts like age, residency, military, etc…  Using a Travel Agent does not cost the client.  It’s FREE!
VALUE!
Although price is an important factor when planning your vacation, clients should consider value of their dollar.  Spending your hard earned wages on a trip that doesn’t suit you (wrong cruise line for your travel party, resort in a bad location or under renovations, etc…) isn’t worth the expense.  A Travel Agent will ask up front questions to do their very best to ensure your vacation fits your travel desires.
KNOWLEDGE!
It’s a Travel Agents job to know.  They are the expert and knowledgeable about the travel they sell.  Sometimes deciphering the “lingo” can be difficult or it can take hours of your time when you venture out on your own to book a vacation.  You work hard at your job, let us do our job and work hard for you!
RELATIONSHIP!
Having a good relationship with a Travel Agent is more important than saving a dollar or two.  If something does happen to go wrong with your vacation plans, your Travel Agent is there to assist you.   Over time, a Travel Agent will get to know your travel style and understand what you are seeking from your vacations.
TRUST!
If a Travel Agent suggests a different cruise line or an alternate destination, ask why and value their input.  Travel Agents have the inside scoop and want to create a vacation that will provide you with a lifetime of memories. Remember, a Travel Agent’s goal is to make sure you are satisfied with your vacation, earn your repeat business, and referrals.
FEEDBACK!
After your vacation, be sure to give your Travel Agent feedback on your trip.  This helps a Travel Agent get to know you and gain important data on destinations, restaurants, etc…”Feedback is the breakfast of champions!”
